Open Source Interview Assistant

An interview assistant should not be a closed subscription. Ofradr is an open source interview assistant: invisible overlay, mock-interview workflows, and Ultra included at $0. Source is on GitHub at sunnycodet/ofradr.

Practice without a subscription

Run live coding practice, system-design notes, and agent mode without a monthly invoice.

You can read the code

Star github.com/sunnycodet/ofradr. The assistant is not a sealed SaaS tab you cannot inspect.

Ultra on day one

New accounts get unlimited sessions. No 15-minute free tier hiding behind a paywall.

Why interview tools went closed — and why we did not

Most “interview copilots” are Electron apps with a Stripe checkout. That model rewards lock-in, not quality. Ofradr is maintained in the open and given away because the overlay only works if people can trust it.

Use it for mock interviews, campus placement practice, and take-home rehearsal. Follow the rules of any live process you join.

What you can run for free

Interview mode for structured problem solving. Agent mode for longer tasks. Local models when you want the session to stay on-device. Cloud models when you want the strongest APIs. All of that is Ultra, and Ultra is free.

  • Invisible overlay during practice sessions
  • Works alongside Zoom, Teams, and browser IDEs
  • Offline path with local models
  • No seat licenses or team billing

Start from GitHub or the site

Clone or star sunnycodet/ofradr, then install from the homepage one-liner. Create an account so Ultra is attached to your username. Follow @sunnyy050 on X for release notes.

Can I use it for FAANG-style practice?

Yes. It is built for coding-interview practice, system design, and timed assessments. Always respect the interviewer's rules.
